Bloom Energy Surges on AI Data Center Optimism
Bloom Energy shares rallied 27% this week following bullish commentary from CEO KR Sridhar regarding the company's role in powering AI data centers. The fuel cell manufacturer's stock had previously gained momentum after securing a direct deal with Oracle—a departure from its traditional partnerships with utilities and real estate firms.
Sridhar hinted at additional hyperscaler agreements during a Bloomberg interview, stating "expect to see similar things coming soon" after the Oracle announcement. Bloom's combustion-free natural gas conversion technology positions it as a cleaner energy solution for power-hungry AI infrastructure.
